Camp Details
Ages: 4 to 12
Leader in Training* for ages 12 to 15 (Application Required)
Dates: Starting July 1, running weekly through August 22
Location: Seneca Hill Private School – 33 Overland Drive, North York
Regular Camp Hours: 9AM to 4PM
Extended Care: No additional cost – 8:30AM to 9AM and 4PM to 5PM

Adventure Thursdays – Weekly Field Trips
Explore the wonders beyond with excursions that promise adventure and discovery. From the Toronto Zoo to farm visits, each week brings a new journey to spark curiosity and tons of fun. On field trip days, students will travel by school bus and return to Seneca Hill by approximately 3:30pm.
*Field Trip permission forms are to be signed and collected on the Monday of each week at camp. Please note there is no field trip Week 1 and Week 6 for the shortened week.

*Kindly note, that while we have planned these field trips, they may be subject to change based on the weather, weekly camp enrollment, and other unforeseen factors. We will promptly inform families of any adjustments that week.
Summer Skills Prep
Our summer skills prep will help your child stay ahead of the curve, ensuring they are well-prepared for the upcoming school year. Each day, we will dedicate an hour to building good study habits, learning life skills and where our experienced staff will provide your child with a variety of stress-free academic activities that will help them retain and build upon the knowledge they learned in the previous school year.
Water Days – Wednesdays & Fridays
Splash into fun with our water days! Campers will enjoy a variety of water activities, from water balloon fights to pool games, ensuring a cool and exhilarating way to beat the summer heat.

- Towards the end of the registration form, you will find a payment section. You can select the specific weeks you’d like your child to participate in. Once payment is successfully processed, you will receive a confirmation notification via email.

For any missed weeks of camp (more than 3 days in a week), our official refund policy is to offer a replacement week of camp – this can be used for this summer or as a credit for next year’s summer camp. If there are no additional weeks available, the options are to provide a credit for a free week of camp next summer, or a 50% refund for the missed week.

Is the camp open to children who do not attend Seneca Hill Private School?
Yes! Our summer camp is open to children aged 4- 12, including those who do not attend Seneca Hill during the regular school year. We welcome new friends to join us for a summer of fun, learning, and adventure!
Is extended care included in the camp fee?
Yes! Extended care is included at no additional cost.
- Morning Drop-Off: 8:30 AM – 9:00 AM
- Afternoon Pick-Up: 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM
This ensures flexibility for parents while giving campers extra time to enjoy supervised activities in a relaxed environment.
Who are the staff running the camp program?
Our camp is led by the passionate and experienced educators and teachers that are our regular school year faculty. They are dedicated to creating a safe, fun, engaging, and educational environment. Our team includes certified teachers, early childhood educators, and trained support staff, all of whom have undergone background checks and first aid training.
Can I register my child for just one week of camp?
Yes! Families have the flexibility to register for individual weeks or multiple weeks based on their schedule. However, space is limited, so we recommend securing your preferred weeks early.
Are the facilities air-conditioned?
Yes, our classrooms are air-conditioned to ensure campers stay cool and comfortable throughout the summer.
Can my child be placed in the same group as their friends or children of a similar age?
Yes, we make every effort to place campers with their friends or in age-appropriate groups. During registration, you can request that your child be grouped with a specific friend, and we will do our best to accommodate your request while ensuring a balanced and inclusive environment.
What academic activities are included in the camp program?
We integrate daily learning through our Kumon Summer Program, which includes structured math and reading activities tailored to different age groups. Campers will work on skill-building exercises designed to reinforce key academic concepts while promoting independent learning. Academic time is kept short and engaging to ensure a balanced mix of learning and fun.
What should my child bring to camp each day?
Campers should bring:
- A nutritious, nut-free lunch and at least two snacks
- A refillable water bottle
- Comfortable clothing and closed-toe running shoes
- A sun hat and sunscreen (please apply sunscreen before arriving at camp)
- A change of clothes (just in case!)
- A big smile and a positive attitude!
Is there an indoor space for activities in case of extreme heat or rain?
Yes, we have a large indoor gymnasium that serves as a safe space for activities when it’s too hot or rainy to be outdoors. Our gym allows campers to continue enjoying games, sports, and interactive activities regardless of the weather.
What should my child NOT bring to camp?
For safety and security reasons, we ask that campers leave the following items at home:
- Electronics (phones, tablets, video games, etc.)
- Toys or personal games (unless instructed by staff)
- Money or valuables
- Chewing gum
What are the drop-off and pick-up times?
